This is that always dodgy first post, where people feel they have to have something there, but dont actually have anything to put there yet... So, this isn't going to be that deep...
Anyway, this blog is going to be a replacement for those group emails that some people like, and some people absolutely loath. (I belong firmly in the latter category). So, I'll put my ramblings here, and if people are interested in reading them - well, they can come here and read them.
For those that aren't quite technically minded, and haven't done the blog reading thing before, you have a few options as to how to read a blog:
- come visit the site regularly, and see if theres anything new to read
- download a feed reader (aka news aggregator), and let it check automatically for new stuff
- if you want to give this a go, i'd suggest awasu as a really cool standalone program
- if you use outlook, check out newsgator as a really cool outlook addin (news items appear as emails).
Anyway, thats enough babbling for now - all i've got to do is send out an email saying that its here! Yay!.
