Its a bit belated, but, hey, better late than never... So:

Merry Christmas everyone :D.

Hope you all have a great day, and Santa brings you all the presents that you wanted :).

Take care, have a great new years, and a really really great year to come.

PS. Hope that those of you heading up north (in England at least) get a white Christmas - from what I've heard, its not looking so good for those London-folk...

Yay! After 6 days, I've finally got my luggage with me...

(At least, I think its my luggage... (hang on a sec - I'll go check... Yep, it is... :)))

Now, finally, I can get changed... Phew - I think I was beginning to smell a bit. Hope nobody noticed :~.

Found out today that London doesn't add flouride to the water supply.

Wanna know how I found out? I went to the dentist today... Not a good prognosis... :(

Made it to Melbourne. Yay!

Still dont have my pack yet - Qantus lost it. Boo.

Beautiful weather. Yay!

Jet lags a bummer. Boo.

Beautiful weather, nice long days, bbq's. Yay!

...

Okay, you get the picture... :)

(£20 if you can tell me which book that comes from...)

Anyway, all packed, and room emptied into various attics and garages, and really, if its not done by now, well, too bad.

Few final things, and then I'm off to heathrow. 27 or so hours later, I'll be good ol' Melbourne. Yay! :)

To the house-mates: its been a blast, but time for a change. Never fear, I shall be dropping round for food occaisionally... (I'll leave that up to you to decide whether thats a good thing or not :)).

To those over this side of the world: see you in a couple of months.

To those in Melbourne: see ya soon!

Yay! :D

Oooh.... Not long now...

Its getting much closer to the time I wing my way away from this bleak dark winter, and into the land of sun and fun (go see this post if you don't know what I'm talking about).

I've sorted out most of the things i need to do (like doing my scuba review, organising flights, insurance etc, buying a new pack etc, etc), but I've still got lots to do before i go in 2 days time...

Still have to pack up all my stuff, and move out, pack to go, suspend my gym membership, get my bond back, and a few other things... Should be able to get them done before I leave. Hope I can at least.

But, damn, its a good feeling to be starting to hit the road again. Makes me wonder why I got stuck in a full time job (it was only supposed to be a 3 month contract!!!). But, that said, I've got a bit of $$$ in the bank now, so it makes the travel concept a lot easier.

So, as long as the immigration guys let me in, I'll be back in Melbourne Saturday morning. Then, Squires Loft a few days later for one of their amazing steaks! :D
