Personally, would’ve thought that you really wouldn’t need a sign for this… Would’ve thought it would be quite obvious.

Though, that said, there isn’t actually a surfeit of green areas round here… Maybe some people don’t know what grass is?

The urban dictionary defines blog as:

Not as true as it used to be, but still, very true.

Something that’s been a pet hate of mine for a while, is resourcification. You are no longer a person, you are a resource.

Especially tied into that is the assumption that all resources are equal. Hello! People have different strengths and weaknesses.

Just ordered a pizza, and sat down to watch 2001: A Space Odyssey on HD-DVD (detailed version: the dvd in my laptop, and watching on my tv via hdmi cable).

Then just got a message saying:

So, there I am trying to watch a legitimate rented dvd (lovefilm.com is great btw!), and the DRM prevents me.

Gah. Why is downloading movies wrong again? At least I can watch them that way.

Apparently he's got an exhibition on until 29 February at Atlas Gallery, Dorset Street, London.

Just have to find the time to get down there!

Anyhoo, related to some stuff i've been playing around with lately:

Modifying your modem driver file to support caller id (and other 'unrecognised responses'). (Damn, this guy knows far too much about this, but very useful - kudos!)
Exchange WebDav .Net library. Very nice library to query exchange via WebDav.

See? Told you not to bother reading it. But thought I'd share the link love, cos these have come in quite useful lately.

(oh, and hope your head isn't too bad after the new years celebrations!)

Will try and post a bit more on the blog next year - now that i'm officially unemployed, have a few plans on what I want to do with the site and a few things to post. Still got the trips to Egypt and Africa left to post about, and a gazillion and one pics to share...

Anyway, if i haven't spoken to you in a while, hopefully catch up (or at least speak!) soon.
